The Military Women’s Coalition is a national group of formal and informal organizations who work collaboratively to serve and support US active duty, Guard, Reserve, Veteran, and retired servicewomen by uniting and elevating their voices to influence policy and improve their well-being. More.
The Coalition’s vision is that someday military women are fully integrated, equally respected, and equally supported members of the military and veteran community and their contributions are recognized as essential to national defense. More.
The MWC is comprised of a tiered membership structure. The Steering Committee is a fixed group of organizations that manage governance of the Coalition. Organizations that qualify for Coalition membership are accepted as Coalition Members. Other types of affiliation include Friends of the Coalition and individual sponsorship. More.
The Steering Committee is comprised of eleven Coalition Member organizations who are charged with managing governance of the Coalition. The Steering Committee houses the Executive Committee of the MWC, including the Coalition's Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer, Secretary, and Policy Committee Chairs. More.
The MWC is currently under the fiscal sponsorship of Steering Committee member Servicewomen's Action Network (SWAN), a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Financial reports from the MWC to be posted soon. More.
